I'm gonna make a quick guess and say it's a Bachmann Spectrum or Walther's.
Sometimes, a picture of the bottom can shed some light of its maker. Please, would you take a pic' of the bottom?
John
p.s. John Hancock was one of the signers of the Declaration Of Independence... An old insurance company was also named John Hancock. In the US, northern States, people would coin the term: "Sign your John Hancock, on this line..." In the southern States, it would be "Sign your John Henry..."
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

OH!
Sometimes, when requested, the "Seller" would take another picture. Sometimes, they don't because of either a flaw or... "Let the buyer beware!"
Thanks, Ken.
John
p.s. Could be an AHM/RivaRossi.

I forgot IHC...
I could push the limit and try Model Power...
Could you post the link? I could look it up, then check out the rest of the dealer's collection. Sometimes that helps, too.

| Great paint job...when corrugated passenger cars came out, they would paint the older heavyweight steel ones to "match" the rest of the consist, using silver paint and carefully painted lines down the side...very effective until suitable replacement cars were built.

It looks too short to be a Rivarossi tool, but it does show silver wheel treads which would likely make it an IHC issue - there was a period where they had the rights to sell the Rivarossi cars and put every paint scheme known to man on them, regardless of being correct. The window glazing also looks like Rivarossi/AHM/IHC, they were part of the roof and just slid in.
The other shot is it's an Athearn with a Bev-Bel paint job on it. But those have a more flush-fit window glazing.
