My kids picked this Santa Fe F9 up for me at a show last sat for $2.00. Mint in box though it doesnt run. Gonna mess with it when I get time.

If it doesn't run because of a cracked axle gear: Northwest Shortline has a replacement gear.
$9.95 each. Made of machined Delrin, so it shouldn't crack anytime within a couple of decades.

I took it apart and the plastic casing for the motor was melted. I think I got a spare in my tackle box some where. I already got five f9 now on my layout so this can wait a little. Thanks for the info,ill make note of that.

I looked,and i dont have any spare parts,anyone got a rear truck and motor assembly they want to part with?
