No sooner did I complete that AHM Center Cab, then I turned to the custom painting of my Bowser kit of a PRR N5C steel caboose. Actually, now there are 2 of them, as I picked another one up at the big train show at the Tampa Fairgrounds 2 weeks ago. Here are some teaser images:

The photos will be much better when I am done, as I just took a few quick ones for my personal record.
Oh, by the way, I took my lovely daughter to that train show, as we are both "on vacation from school"- her as a student, me as a teacher- until next Monday 2 Jan, ostensibly just to keep me company, but really, to get my Christmas present.
And what a deal she did for me! There were two older gentlemen at one table, and I spied a Proto 2000 SW9/SW1200 Conrail switcher NIB sitting there. The sign said "orig. 75.00, then bought for 55.00, then selling for 25.00. I was interested and asked about it, but then went on to other vendors. My daughter goes back abit later, sees that the "less-with-it" of the two is sitting alone at the table, and gets the diesel for $15.00!!!!!! (I knew what she got, but pretended ignorance ).
When I officially actually opened it yesterday (25 Dec), it was absolutely new- never been run before!
I am so proud of her- now I am glad she is coding for pre-Bus. Admin. on all her college applications!
Anyway, I came up with a apur of the moment different project, so I will put the issue on that in another post.
I sincerely hope all forum folks had a nice holiday, and my best wishes for a safe and healthy new year next weekend! Many thanks for your friendship and sage advice.

I meant to include a shot of the top portion of the caboose:
