Hi guys, It's been awhile since I purchased my set, life gets in the way sometimes. I finally got around to setting it up for a test run, but no dice. It wouldn't move, I could hear the transformer humming but nothing would convince it to move.
Is there anyone who repairs or repairs tyco locomotives? I'm half blind and have nerve damage in my hands or I'd attempt it myself. What I originally thought I'd do is set it up around the Christmas tree this year, guess not lol.

Not too late, sir. I live in northern Virginia, USA, if you want to ship it to me to let me take a crack at repairing it ( I also have many spare Tyco PT motors ), I'd be happy to look at it for you. Sorry to hear your engine doesn't run. What kind, diesel or steam? Some steam use electrical pick-up from the tender.
Anyway, will be out of town and back Friday evening, you can post here or send me a PM ( personal message ), and if you want to ship it to me for repair, I'd be happy to try to get it going for you. Happy Holiday to you and all,
Jerry Casper Woodbridge, VA, USA

Jerry:
I think he means the Prime Minister is coming to see you about this. Is there another meaning for PM???

And, I think I have just enough spares to fix a PT motor -

Actually, this is about half of them.

It makes you wonder how many of the Tyco churned out. There seems to be an endless supply of cannibalized PT drives, regardless of all ones that were tossed.
