I want to get my 2 N Rivarossi 0-8-0's running again. I wanna remotor the 2 with Helix Humper motors which I'll supply and the drivers need requarting. I also have a parts engine I'll send with the extra parts in case one part needs a swap out. Anybody here a expert of this work?

There are 5 different drive versions of the 0-8-0... which do you have? It started with a motor in the tender (50's), then two different cab mounted motors (ball bearing, then sleeve), then a round motor mounted vertically in the boiler, first on a bracket, then with a collar and fork retainer.

That's a whole different matter. I don't have parts for those. I have a bunch of N C-Liner motors that I've rehabbed, but they have a worm on a short shaft and probably don't fit the 0-8-0.

I don't call myself an expert but, if you're willing to take the chance, I'm willing to do it. Just PM me...
