Looks like I am the first one!
Here is mine:
A Marklin New Haven F7 / F9 a&b Pair:

Been wanting them for a long time! Paid $120 for the powered unit. Showed up with one missing step, so the seller sold me the unpowered unit for $10. Sounded fair to me.

Nice pieces though I've always found Marklin making American prototypes kinda odd...sorta like Athearn putting out their version of a Bavarian Railways German WWI Panzer Locomotive...it just don't ring right...I love their workmanship (before they went Chinese) and covet my two Marklin locs.
My lokey came from the UK this week---and---it's N scale, an early Arnold Rapido 4-6-2 in Southern fantasy paint...

Mike is that 0-8-0? Missing a pilot or trailing trucks? Fair bit of space there, is it a conversion? Pilot looks right for a switcher though...

Hi Ken:
Well since it's a TYCO we can be sure wheels went on and off depending on which box was being stuffed for sale!

Here's a snapshot of my Rivarossi Southern Crescent 4-6-2 that I've had since I was 16. Now with a very smooth can motor, due to the melting motor mount problem.

Thanks, it's been though at least 4 different remotorings over the years. The one I settled on is the motor pictured, which is for the IHC/Mehano double motored GG1. I was fortunate enough to get some from a parts dealer. Very smooth and quiet, and slower than the Sagami it used to have. I had to remove so much plastic in the firebox I wasn't sure it would hold together.

Frank,
What make is that saddle tanker, and what is the retaining clip for? Does that release the motor assy. from the chassis?

Nice locos guys. Taycotrains:I have always wanted to get my hands on a diecast PRR Shark and yours run superbly. Did you get it from an O gauge guy trying to unload it since you got a bargain?
NKP759: Were did you locate the flexible tubing to use on the Crescent repower? You've only had that for 10 years? :) Thanks guys.

Flattery will get you everywhere. That's silicone fuel line tubing that's readily available at any RC hobby shop. Get the small size.

| That tank loco is a Hornby (England, possibly via China depending on the age). I believe the clip does hold the motor. Neat little tanks, although they have a bit of a jackrabbit start compared to other Hornby's with better motors.

Not too late for Southern week I hope!
The Prairie Rambler! If Southern didn't roster any 2-6-2's then they should have because this fine steamer looks glorious in green. I'm not sure this Bachmann model is a genuine Prairie but the 2-6-2 is neglected by makers so it will have to do. Performs okay - not great, not bad, and has quietened down after a good running in.

Hi ken! I've been reading up on the Southern Railway, wonderful history. I also like the British Southern Railway but I don't have any locos of theirs yet.
Fantasy liveries are a fine thing, this is a Tyco forum after all!
