...and the jokes are on us of course!

The latest episode of Big Bang Theory had model trains as a plot device. I thought it was funny, even though the jokes were the typical stereotyped expense.

http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_bang_theory/video/13042161/

(since I imagine most of you probably don't know the show: its premise is the shenanigans and foibles of 4 late-twentysomething uber-nerds and how they don't fit into society at large. The girlfriends all have different roles as foils. The character "Sheldon" is the most neurotic, brilliant, and OCD of the group, and also a railfan (and ridiculed for such) though this is rarely used in the show. He does not have a layout, but has a few O scale items on display in his bedroom).

Enjoy...

I haven't seen that particular episode yet, but my mom told me a bit about it (she's seen two episodes and this happens to be one of them ) Like Ken I can't watch the vid as I'm in Canada, but I'll definitely have to watch out for it.

I had a good laugh too, although I'm not sure my family was laughing with me or at me.
