Gareth ;
Thanks for the message. I wish you could to. I got on a roll and just kept going. These were real common cars. Ahm was sold everywhere in the states. I dont have them all. Always looking for other ones. As ahm used different sources to make their cars. Many things were labled on the bottom. You would read ahm on some along with austria, tiawan, OK, crown, ROCO, and others. Well maybe I'll find some more. Maybe someone else will. C U .

Frank:

I guess it would be pretty hard to compile a list of waht you don't have of those. I just suggested to a Pal we start hitting Flea Markets. so maybe I'll come across something.

I'm gonna look for a few Lionel Husky's so I can get a gear drive insteadof the band ones, hmmm wel that presumes operation.... hmmmmm

Anyway Frank, can you edit your posting so the first one has a list of all of them. at least that way it would be possible to know if I had something in my hands at a show that you might want....

Gareth ;
Dont worry about me. Half the fun of getting something, is looking for it.
Good luck with those Lionel husky drives. Around here the dealers think they have struck gold when they sell one.

Hey Frank:

Ya have to laugh at what people think things are worth.

Guy down the road from me had one of those cast metal Alco HH6/660's old CNR paint, boy he thought this is rare. Started at 99.99 buy it now of 199.99. I contacted him and said Brass (likely Hallmark or Alco Models) or Cast meatl (Walthers) it was the latter. I said try for $30-50. I also suggested he be careful since the posting was vague and if someone bought it thinking it was a brass unit (their fault of course but...) they might get pretty angry feeling duped.

Anyway it didn't get a bid, so I'm gonna go look at it tonight...

The Husky's I want because I don't want to have to convert Athearn Hustler to gears, OTOH it might be cheaper!?

Thank you for posting these. It helps fill in some of the pictorial gaps in Tony Cook's excellent, "HO- Scale Trains Resource."

Ok Robert. Glad you found it and it was some use. That is its purpose. There are other similar works spread through the forums on train cars by different manufactures.

Raise you another Great Northern? I couldn't even find this one on Tony Cook's website.

This time it's GN 3529. I always found it odd that this one had tiny 28" wheels (or something around that size), so I ended up swapping them out for what I had around as spares, in this case, some Bachmann and Life-Like 33" wheelsets.
