I picked up today 3 Tyco (I think) transfprmers. #1 will go on land or water with a big screw on each side?????? # 2 is a 6 legged monster that shoots rockets. # 3 is a 3 arm devil that shoots round yellow disks They are all Tyco. They all work well. What year did they come out and where can I find info on them? Thanks Ken

I grew up in the 80s, which was they heyday of Transformers, so I can try to help you out. Also, I'm a compulsive toy collector/hoarder...so I've seen a lot of stuff.
First off, if you can get a picture posted here this would be much easier. Your descriptions aren't ringing any bells right now, but actually seeing them might help. When you say they all work, what do you mean exactly? Do you mean that they transform well, or do they have moving parts?
The "real" Transformers were made by Hasbro, not Tyco. They were based on toys from a Japanese company called Takara. However, there were countless spin-offs and knock-offs that are similar. I'm not sure what Tyco made, so the first thing to do is double check and see if they are definitely marked Tyco. Tonka made a similar line called GoBots.
If they are made by Tyco, then they aren't actual "Transformers," but something similar. To my knowledge Tyco only produced a train set and a slot car set under the Transformers name.
I did find references to Tyco "Robo Bloxx" online, but they look more like Lego robots.
I'm happy to help, but I need a little more to go on. Like I said before, a picture would help immensely.

I guess I misled you guys. They are not transformers they are R/C controlled units. I went on line and found out what they are. The names are Terrain Twister,N.S.E.C.T. and Robtic Attach Creature. I don't know too much about then but they are a blast to run. My grandson loves them. Ken

I'm pretty sure the terrain twister came out in 2004. I remember seeing the ads on TV when I was in middle school. A year or two later they came out with a similar one that was some sort of hovercraft...Tyco Airblade or something like that... They all looked pretty cool
