Got an ol' CD-ROM fer free from a friend and removed all of 'em neato lil' parts. I also removed the ejector assy. Only saved the strip of gears which mount flat againist the tray and a motor and its gears goes fwd. and rev. How many volts does it take to operate the motor and is there a way to wire it fer fwd. and rev.?Gonna use these parts to make a homemade coal loader for my automatic dump cars..Gonna have a blade inside a coal mine tipple and at the end, a tipple chute so it won't spill everywhere and have a the roof removable for reloading and servicing!
