Thank you. By the way I am the one on the left wearing a blue shirt and Chops is on the right wearing a light shirt.
That photo was taken by an attractive female Amtrak employee at a Pennsylvania Station New York City waiting area.

After we met he went onboard the Lake Shore Limited to Buffalo today.

I photographed the older part of Pennsylvania Station afterwards. Still looks great as far as I am concerned.

He had a bit of difficulty walking around so he did not have time to see the whole complex.
At least he went out of the station to see Madison Square Garden. And the Empire State Building in the distance.

Madison Square Garden occupies the space the original Pennsylvania Station was at. A sin to tear it down.
At least the historic building next to it survived and became the extended part of Pennsylvania Station.

Jeff's photos of his odyssey.

Jeff started from El Paso Texas on May 26. Inside that beautiful station.

More of his photos from the odyssey.

During a short layover in San Antonio Texas he saw some Amtrak sets the next day May 27.

After San Antonio he saw a restored caboose at Cleburne. Near Dallas.

Next day May 28 his train stopped at Saint Louis Missouri.

Twenty minutes later the train left Saint Louis station. Passes Busch Stadium. Home of the Saint Louis Cardinals.

A few minutes later the train passes over the Mississippi River.
Jeff got to Chicago late and just made the next Amtrak train to North Carolina.

The caboose from his photos looks nice so I checked it out on the internet.

A similar Texas Eagle Amtrak train is seen in the first internet photo.

Jeff is still traveling around the USA and Canada.

Rest stop in Virginia.

Rest stop in Ontario while riding VIA Rail.

Inside the plush VIA Rail passenger coach car.

Jeff rented a vintage van to travel around Ontario.

Peaceful lake side view in Ontario Canada.

Jeff likes to hike around. He is currently in the Seattle area.

The subway model car I gave Jeff back in June survived his long trip.
He sent me a photo of it and asked me to post it.
Some computer glitch prevents him from posting on here currently.

Opinion please: I really enjoy this marvelous subway coach from WKS when I got to visit with him this past June at Grand Central Station. On one hand, I tempted to plaster one side with horrendous graffitti in a nod to the proto-real, while on the other I am not pleased by what I regard as urban decay. Should I or shouldn't I?

Moreover, even the most ancient pyramids of Egypt sport graffiti from the original workmen. Not so sure about Aztec or Mayan temples, though.

IMHO graffiti is not art. I prefer my trains graffiti free.
