I have 3 Rivarossi's N scale 0-8-0 that need desperate help!I wanna remotor the 3 of 'em and wanna know where some good ones for sale.Who makes a high quality motor thats darn near direct fit? Also, they need requarting.

The quartering problem usually is in the retainer plate. It can get bent even slightly, making the drivers slop enough to go out of quarter. Fix that and you've got it.

There is a guy on the Yahoo N scale yard sale forum who sells drop in replacement motors for the old Atlas/Rivarossi steamers.
