hi all. i just got myself an AHM 4-6-6-4 challenger. it is a sharp looking engine. my question is this. does anyone have a servising guide to this engine that will show how to break it down & servise it? it hasn't been ran in about 20 years, & i want to service it before i even put it on the tracks.

if someone knows how to get it apart & what to grease & oil, that would work too.

i was surprised how nice this engine is. it the gray with smoke deflecters on it.

Plastic of the old engine is brittle, spring packages break out an crumble into peaces! replaced them with one of the Revel Big Boy Kit!

Also this tube is delecate , brittle also, replaced it with Rivarosi Big Boy parts! - Erich
