i had to replace runner and door on this car,i like it as it is a quick repair job,or should i paint it as the rest of the car,ken

It looks fine, but I think it could use something...
Since repairs are a real-life scenario, it can be a different color, sure. The brown (?) color doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the cars appearance. It seems like a rust or primer color, but there isn't rust anywhere else. Maybe a quick coat of flat black or grey on the new rail, to mimic a recently completed job? Don't know. See what others say...
Oh, yeah, the door is fine "as is" or any color you might like. Gives it some character!

| In the past I have used a Sharpe (sp?) marker to 'color' the rails when I make a repair like that. I have made them all one color so it does not look like a repair. On one of my cars the door and the rail on one side is different than all of the other areas of the car. As said before, repairs are the color they are until it is time for a full repaint.
