Nice old cars! My father loved the Rambler Station wagons and had several over the years. That 59 is an awesome car...

That has to be a mistake ad, as all car manufacturers had stopped making cars in '42 due to the war. I think only Chevy and Ford were allowed to produce trucks into '43 for the military before they stopped, too. Or maybe it was the Car that never Was. Either way, interesting photo! Love those old ramblers too, although my tastes run to the more modern Gremlin. :) Oldest AMC I have is a '62, which is being sold to a friend. One online vendor was selling ads for scale billboards, and had made a '78 Gremlin GT ad ( I have two of those cars myself ), so I bought that one. Thanks for posting those ads!

| hi frank i had a 1955/6 Cadillac fleetwood back in 70s,ex Canadian embassy car,it was massive, cocktail cabinet and refrigerator in rear,sat 8 in real comfort,and enough room for kids to play on floor,i loved it but my pockets soon emptied so it went back on the car front ken
