Searched a bit on this car, but haven't found many like it. Walthers had a gray one with exact windows, but number is off. So not sure who made this one. Trucks are actually sprung, too.



If anyone has an idea, throw it out here. I got this along with a few other cars by Playart, Tyco, and Precision Miniatures. Nice finds at the Cackleberry mall.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Tru-Scale.

That bunk car is made by Train Miniatures. The tell tale signature is the weight on the underside.

Friend of mine has an Athearn one that is identical but molded in gray. Did Athearn not reuses several of TM's molds? Many of my Athearn box cars use that that weight and undercarriage.

Might be a similar design. Walthers bought (most of?) the T-M line, I bought a FA-1 engine from them to put my Train Miniature white shell on for a ghost train consist. I think Walthers calls it Trainline series.
