Has everyone here heard that MR is going to offer it's entire back issue catalogue 1939 to present on a 2 x DVD set for $200.
Not a terrible deal. I'd prefer all the pre-1970 issues myself, and hopefully if it goes well, RMC will do the same!?

Hadn't heard this about MR but I know they announced it for Trains a few months ago, so it's not surprising (both being by Kalmbach).
I agree the price isn't all that bad - especially for the price of finding key rare older issues and not having to store reams of old musty paper.
I much prefer the concept for [i]Trains[i] myself - some really good writing and industry insight from the golden age, and invaluable prototype info all around. But it would be neat to see some of the earlier MR issues too. Can't afford both though...
