Here's Intermountain cylindrical hopper kit with (what I think is) an interesting paint scheme...

I like the corn graphics and the interesting font for "Scoular". The yellow trucks are interesting too but I'm not sure if those are accurate. It certainly stands out with or without them!
I've seen a handful of these in recent years, looking very faded and worse for wear. A few had the "Scoular" painted out but the corn still showing, ha ha.

Very cool. My offering isn't as great, but it's what I've got. Here's an Athearn R-T-R Chessie boxcar to go with the LOTW. It's also from a garage sale. I've had nothing but trouble with it. I had to replace the couplers and trucks because they weren't working right. Seems like the R-T-R things are lower quality than the old kits.

Mine is a wood kit I have done, by Ambroid. It started out a outside braced box car. It has become a wood double sheated reefer. The letterieng is a Clover House set. frank

MB, I was actually surprised to find out Scoular was an American (as opposed to Canadian) company. They're still around too, so it's odd that a lot of those cars have been sold to other owners.
Your ore car may have been sold by AHM.
