I wonder how kindly that Japanese switcher would be received today? Funny how there was a plausible endorsement for "anything goes" back in the day.
Of course, as if to redefine the word "irony" I can't help but notice the conspicuous absence of the yellow warbonnet stripe behind the grills on that MRC F7, oops. Looks really sharp besides though.
The hobby has sure come a long way.

regards mrc,its a tampo print is it not,so it would mean a bit more work on tampo printer as they put grills in last,and if they put them in first,i do not think it would look better at this scale,or would it,ken

Hi,
I have the same loco in CN colors, and I want to do a little project on it as adding DCC and lights (I know this loco probably doesn't worth the effort, but is an easy one to do). Does anybody knows the exact model of the prototype so I can look for pictures of the real thing? I could not identify it myself.
