The 1971-1972 TYCO Catalog
A small catalog 1/2 X 7 1/8. 32 pages of photos and information. It covered both Ho train line 23 pages and the TYCOPRO slot car line, 9 pages. I haven't seen this catalog before this week. Nothing very different except for the change in the Dixie Belle train set # 7320 with power pack, and #7220 without power pack. Info lists both sets as being W&A sets. A W&A combine and 4 W&A freight cars make up the train as always, BUT a different locomotive is shown here on page 8 and 9. A Santa Fe and Disneyland, Rogers 4-6-0 is the locomotive shown with the set. The locomotive E.S.Marsh. Neither Disneyland set is listed in this catalog. Again on page 16 two 4-6-0's are shown in photos. One number 233 is the standard ATSF 4-6-0 named 1890 loco and tender. The other number 242 is named Dixie Belle and it is the santa Fe and Disneyland E.S.Marsh. I could guess this is a misprinted catalog. What can be said but, Very interesting.

Ken ; Your right about that. Disneyland sets were in the ^60's. I think it is a misprint. Whoever was photographing the Trains for the catalog picked up, or was given the wrong locomotive, to photograph for 2 different photos to be put in the 71-72 catalog.

I've found mix ups in several of Tycos catalogs. Mistakes seem to be common.

Hi, my father had left me the Disneyland & Sante Fe train set model T-6626! It has 7 cars and looks to be in excellent condition. It looks like all the tyco paperwork is there as well.
Could anyone give me a ballpark price of what it might be worth if I were to sell it?
Thank You for any response!
Mike

I agree with ya Frank! I do have that same catalog, seems as if one of the trainsets has the wrong caboose with the set!
