I got my my LL/Varney unit up and running once more. Now its seems really slugish on the test track.I've cleaned everything on this engine.Motor is cleaned up too. " Heck with counting 'em rivets, TRAINS ARE FOR FUN! Not called the Mad Scientist for nothing either!"

Did you rotate the armature bearings and top off the ferrite fluids? Don't forget to degauss the coil windings to clear out the excess electron back-charge.
