looking a bit better long way still to go,got to trim the stanchions down to size, made them out of araldite mixed with black paint as the stancions are part of diecast body, would have replaced with proper ones if both sides had been broken ken

It doesn't have the original painted Delrin bell (unless that was a production change, but I don't think so). It's also missing the shaker, not that it's a loss, since it sounds like exactly what it is: birdshot being shaken in a plastic container. The 2 I have had worn side rods from the pressure of flicking it.
Like mine it has the later weaker Pittman-style motor. My first 0-6-0 got a can motor, and the second got a stack of neodymiums and runs beautifully now.

Nelson let me know if you don't want the other one Ken I really love it! They were unique little 6 wheelers.

But I was gonna make it a low rider, maybe put some hydraulics on it I want one to use for collection purposes but I also want a parts one obviously for its saddle tank.

Is the big thing on the front end a smoke unit or just a weight?

I think you're confusing this with the Varney 0-4-0T "Docksider" ... which, to further confuse the issue, a modified version of the Varney was also sold by Revell.
