British locomotive of the week. Connie. A Hornby product, apparently a knock off from the Thomas chassis. Had to weight her down to give her any pulling traction.
Here is Connie pulling a rake of Electrotren olive oil wagons.

I added some coal to the coal wagon I got from Ben (The Bus). I put a paper towel piece in the bed, painted it with black tempura paint and then spritzled a little coal on top and affixed it with a glue water mixture.

Ben, I just saw the video you posted a thread or two up, that was inspirational! As in Pink Floyd, I feel one of my turns coming on!Edited by - Chops124 on December 14 2025 4:22:30 PM

I recently acquired this set of tinplate Trix Twin US-style Pullman coaches. I'm guessing they were made in England in the 1950s? The trucks (bogies) are three axle but the center axle is represented with a small diameter blind wheelset. I don't know yet if I can substitute the wheelsets so that I can run them on my layout. It looks like the axles are blunt ended and not needle point. If you have any suggestions, let me know. They might look nice behind a US-style Fleischmann 4-6-2
