Our first edition
The TF Railroader News
April 8 2010
Transfer and initial test runs have been completed on the pair of decapods.
They were transferred from Pennsylvania's Frankford Roundhouse to Catford.
Catford London Roundhouse Chief Engineer Catford Ken has said
initial test runs are completed with positive results.
This pair of Hippos soon to be joined by a L1 mikado and H9 consolidation
will help relieve the power shortage on main line freight service.
The presence of these engines will provide local railfans with many moments
seeing these powerful locomotives working with and alongside British Bulldogs.
It will be a sight to be seen.

A followup report on locomotive engine 56. A photo of it was taken by our roving reporter
who was out shooting pictures of cherry trees in bloom.
Engine 56 can be seen here with a train it towed on the spur to the mainline.
With headlight, bell, and new road name.

Evening edition
Good evening this is Richard reporting for the first time. I am a new employee to this company.
My first pictures for this newspaper are of Western Maryland #763.
She is returning from light work done at the shops in Bergen Point New Jersey.
The crew at Frankford roundhouse did a great job of repairing her braking system.
After turning on the wye the crew picks up workers and retires for the night.

Doing the honors today is Lima built Berkshire steam engine 1225.
She pulls a four car set filled with happy passengers enjoying the comfortable weather.
Two hundred mile roundtrip between here and Kensville Tennessee.
Scenic rolling hills with winding river views make for a delightful trip today.
She speeds ahead as we listen to her whistle sounds that echoes thru the valley on a beautiful afternoon.

Hello fellow Tycomaniacs,
Its been a few months since my last post. I've been well, just felt like someone pulled the plug on my
Tyco Muse. I honestly haven't looked at a model train, much less Tyco in ages! This is odd as I used
to be mad about Tyco and then just poof, I got busy with other things and just lost my thread, no
pun intended.
I took an 8,000 combined Amtrak and Via Canada trip in June, using an AmPass. The ride was great
and I got to meet the mysterious WKS at Penn Station as I roared off to Chicago. It was a great trip,
that, but here I am back in El Paso goingincirclz, not making any train progress.
But I SHALL return, hope you are all well!
