A few years ago, I got a used AHM set, in a toolbox of all things. Over the years I have split up the components of the set and now don't really remember what it exactly came with. For all I know it might have not even been complete, or even a set at all! I never got the set box to confirm.
Here's what I remember it having:

PRR ALCO RS3

Rio Grande steel boxcar

PRR caboose

Figure 8 of track

Maybe a Southern Pacific gondola?

Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Hey I looked at the handful of AHM catalogs I have - no luck. I checked on hoseeker.net in the catalogs I do not have - they have all the literature you could possibly want - the only set I see that lists an RS-3 Pennsylvania RR with a figure eight is in their 1972 catalog (see the photo at the bottom) but I am guessing you have some items missing.I hope this helps.

Thats probably it!
I saw that set on HoSeeker before posting here, but thought it wasn't it due to it having Union Pacific locomotives. I never saw that other roadnames were available. It does appear the rolling stock changed in this set in 1973, that catalog shows a 50' stock car instead of a 40', a reefer replaced the boxcar, and the 40' gondola was swapped out for a 50' wood gondola. Both years of the sets seem to use the same item number.
