I don’t know, but given those pins protruding above the trucks, I think it would require a cowled body.

That looks like the original GP40 drive, possibly also a U36B. These were from Bachmann's initial foray into HO locomotives, and predate the infamous pancake motored stuff that gave them a bad name by several years. Not a bad running locomotive, but parts are not available for them. I'd say probably about 1970 to 1975 ish.
You can try the Auto Train U36B on it and see if it fits. If not, then this is a GP40.

The chassis has Blomberg trucks, so that probably makes it an EMD. If the choices are a GP40 and a U36B, the GP40 is the likelier case.

AutoTrain’s U36Bs rode on Blombergs, so this chassis would be appropriate in this case.

Even the pancake motored U36Bs had Blombergs. I don't think I ever saw one without them.
