I had an old HO layout in my grandparents apartment in Manhattan New York.
4 by 6 layout with one inch thick plywood started in 1975. Went through several changes until 1982.
The last setup lasted from 1982 to 2007. Grandfather passed in 2004 and grandmother got weaker.
2007 is when I brought her to my house in Queens.
Could have shipped the layout to my home but I lost interest in keeping it.
It was expendable so I dismantled it and kept some items.
Apartment vacated with furniture and layout board for disposal.
The layout and my grandparents and apartment are gone but I have pleasant memories of them all.
I have Kodak prints of the old HO layout.

From my Kodak prints which I still have. I also have old videos which I will try to post.

Wow, love it! Kodak, no less. Those were the days! Every shot cost money,
every shot had to count!!!

Hmmm. I do hope that one day I get to be reunited with all the people I enjoyed in this life.

I daresay, upon second look, those trains appear to be headed
for a cornfield meet.

From my old CVS discs from 2005. Quality is minimal but acceptable.

Fifth video shows my parrot from 2005 while the sixth video shows her from 2020. Yesterday to be exact. Very little change.

The layout video is really nice, has a warm, grainy feel of Super 8 film.
The reversed Burlington pusher locomotive was a nice touch.

Have you thought about adding some sound track to it, like the
great Barry White, or better yet, some potent rap?

Blossom is such a beautiful animal. Her piercing stare bespeaks
a remarkable sensitivity to her surroundings, and a curious,
intelligent mind. The behavior of parrots is startling- they
are cognizant and affectionate (to their owners) and her
plummage is stunning.

Great old videos of an old layout! Certainly a lot of memories there, and it seems from the videos that a Conrail GP40 was a favorite among motive power.
