This isn't anything major, but I thought it was worth noting. If you compare the two cars below, you'll notice that all the graphics on the bottom car are slightly bigger/bolder than the graphics on the top car.

I have two of the top cars, and one of the bottom.

I also noticed that the little square things to the right of the black underframe tab (just below the D in Canadiana) are raised on the bottom car. I didn't notice that until I saw the third picture.

Here's a picture of my car. I am posting it because it looks to me like a half way version of yours. The graphics on the left are large (or at least wide) like your bottom car, but the leaf on the right is smaller like your top car. Also are the colors different from yours, or is that just a color balance issue with the photos?

Good eye!

What's the paint like? White-over-red, or red-over-white?

My two that came in different stock numbers (the 365-E and VHTF 339-M) were painted differently, but I don't recall the decal size variants. They may yet have them and I just didn't notice, and can't really tell in this photo, but I'll check next time they're out. I do note the top car has the larger door stop as you pointed out.

Mine all have the white as the base with the red over top. That's interesting that sbenny's seems to be a mix of the two. Does the turquoise leaf on your car have a vertical striping pattern on it? I'm not sure if it's a paint flaw or just the surface of the stamp used, but the turquoise leaf on my bold graphics car has vertical stripes on it (none of my other cars have this). Just an observation...
