What you see is a train set released in 1955 by Mr John English. It was set # 456 the "Trail Blazer". This is the first time his streamlined passenger were ever seen. They would go on through Penn Line, Varney, Life Like, and are now with Walters. He named and numbered the cars. Pullman, # 8100 Trenton, Pullman, # 8110 "Princeton", Pullman #8120 Morrisville, Observation #2130 Yardly. He painted his streamliners Silver and lettered them "PENNSYLVANIA". His Alco twin set of FA-1's were painted a Tuscan Red. Numbers 2100 (powered) and 2200 (dummy) and also lettered Pennsylvania.
The view is of a Pennsylvania Railroad Streanliner passing south of "SNAKE Hill", a solid rock hill north of Jersey City on the Hackensack River. A HO view of what was really reality tho the Train going by would have been early pullman type and the locomotive a 4-4-0. It was a much bigger hill 7 0r 8 times the size of whatyou see today.

One of a number of scenes planted in "Henley," my OO British layout. Whilst
there are no mosaics of people, that I am aware of, in Great Britain, most being
floor patterns, and such, there is a huge amount of Roman history lurking
just beneath the surface. The Romans made an enormous impact during
400 years of occupation (43 AD to 410 AD). For a while I was watching
a British program, "Time Team," which goes about uncovering a wealth of
forgotten histories in the UK, and so upon that this scene of a Greek Goddess
of fishermen, "Brizo," I think she was called. I have a number of such
spoofs planted about the layout, as part of my enduring fascination with
archeology and paleontology. I like Brizo's worried look.
