Hi Steve. From your description it sounds like you have one of the two IHC millennium GG-1s. There came in sets only. There is a Tuscan Color and a Black With Millennium Comet on the front. Carl

That is super sharp. I didn't even know about the millenium editions. I have one of the brunswick green with a normal road number. It too is one of the later IHC's with flywheel(s) and runs very nicely.
I notice the tuscan one you also pictured is numbered 2000. First I've seen of these. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks NYC, I appreciate that...I actually got temporarily booted from a model photo contest one time because the judges thought I misunderstood the rules, posting the real thing instead of a model.

That shop n save set is the one my brother has he bought two sets when they came out gave one to our nephew for christmas that year. He had to throw the box out got chewed and beat pretty bad. He got a good deal on his. I think he said he paid 80 bucks for both sets then.
