Hi all, just making an intro, my name is Dan. New to the forum, I’ve been dabbling in model railroading for years. I have 4 sons so over the years we built up a small 5x8 HO layout with each son adding to the layout and the scenery as they grew. We brought it in from the garage and set that thing up in the formal living room every year and put the Christmas tree on it with a lighted Christmas village. The boys loved it, and so did all the kids that came over. Somehow my wife tolerated it Lol. The last time we set it up was Christmas 2013. After that it was in storage while we moved every 2 years. Flash forward to 2023, we’ve escaped the People’s Republik of Commiefornia, the layout is here and it miraculously survived the long move. Time to set up and start operating again! I have a lot of service to do to the rolling stock and Locos & I’ll be posting a lot of questions.
