I need an engine like the one in the picture for parts. Don't need the motor. I will trade any of the items I have up for sale for it.The parts I need are the brake set up between the drivers, headlight and backup light complete and all the steps. The whole body would be great.

That looks like an AHM A3 if I'm not mistaken... can be had for $20 often if you're in no rush!

Ken, Does this pile of parts do you any good? It was an AHM offering, as I recall. The motor is gone, but I found the drive rods in the bottom of the box. -Todd

Hi Tod, Yes that will help. How much do you need to get for it. Thanks. Ken

Ken, It's just parts, so not much value. Shipping to Canada, right? I can get it packed and sent across the border for about $7. Do you need any more details about it? It's a little rough. I can check it more carefully, or snap a few more photos... By the way, what project are you working on? The photgraphed unit looks good already. You must have something else in mind. -Todd

My project is to design and build a General that is as close as the real original as I can make it. I want to install all the piping and valves, flags and dress it up as best I can.I got some pictures from a site down south but I do not have any side pictures which would help me with the right piping and where the valves go. I have a lot of parts on order from 4 places and hope I can do a good job. The driver brakes I get from a switcher I have but would like to get another to cabbage more parts.I believe I can do the project . It should be one of a kind if it goes the way I hope it will. i will post pictures as I go along for everyone to give me suggestions. Ken

Sounds like a great project, Ken. I sent a PM with my info.
Is this it? http://www.tycoforums.com/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9626
It's involved, but you'll get there. I'm curious to see how you'll work out some of the conversions. Keep us posted! -Todd
