I am a machinist for the UP shop in roseville Ca. We are a former SP shop and those SP trains are the trains I loved as a kid.
I am looking for an SD9 or GP9 in grey and red colors but cant seem to find any anywhere. I know they were made years and years ago..
I am also looking for ruddy red SP cars especially 'hydra-cushion" cars in HO also.
I am also looking for the SD9 in the 4400's
Can anyone help me here?

Hi John. Is this what you are looking for..?? This is a GP7/9 SP "Bloody Nose". If it is, Athearn made a GP 7/9 Bloody Nose in 1950s -1960s Catalog #3153 Road #5600 Like the one in the picture and Catalog #3153 Road #3702.
Also made a SD9 SP Bloody Nose back in the 1970s and again in 1990s.
Catalog# 3805 Road# 3945 (1970s) and Catalog #3805 Road #3897 (1990s).  Carl
