There's a long standing bug I've never been able to figure out. If you want the picture to be uploaded properly and then have the option to include the picture in your post, you MUST use lowercase extensions. For example, the file you uploaded must be rename to WhatEver.jpg, it can not be WhatEver.JPG

Hey Brian. That always used to happen to me when I forgot to change the settings on my camera. If I uploaded a file larger than 1 megapixel, the server would time out. I've started using photobucket to post images as I can upload pics as large as I like.

I had the image size limited also. It was set to 2MB and I've upped that to 4MB. There is really no purpose in having images larger than that. There are some good image resizers out there for free. Off the top of my head I don't know the names of any but plenty exist.

NYC -- Thanks for help--it must be this computer i am using--my Dell crashed and i am on a loaner from a friend. Will try to figure out how to make file smaller. My camera is a Canon A560 7.1 Mega Pixels

NYC -- I got the problem fixed - MY pixel setting on camera was too high- was set on 3072x3204 changed to lowest setting 640x680 and it will now upload . I tried 1600x1200 and it timed out as did other settings. So if anyone else can not get their pictures top upload and it says server timing out--check your pixel settings on camera
