Any one have one of these? I want one and I think I'm about to get ripped off for this one.

I guess I did alright. Didn't really know how hard it is to find. Put a high bid in at the last second. Usually I find myself paying too much when I do that.

Well...that and I just got burned on a GP-20 Rio Grande a couple days ago. Bought it as "runs good" and it is DOA. The guy is cool about it but I'm looking to replace the motor for it. Just don't like being that guy that pays too much. $10 or $11 isn't bad for a car if you like it and if the wife lets you buy toys then hey...it's win win right?

I see Josh, I have payed some crazy prices to win an auction too... About a year ago there was a Tyco Road & Rail Slot car track item in the blister pack on Ebay. I have several, but I just had to have another! The night it closed, I snipe bid a ridicuolous $52.04! But someone had a bigger prior bid!! i lost the auction!

After the auction, I was thinking to myself how stupid it was and that I was glad some "other nut" had outbid me!!

That was the MOST crazy bid I have ever done. But I bid high if it is something I really want....

We all get burned. I bought a Bachman Spectrum switcher off Ebay. Opened it up, put it on the track and found one of the two motors wouldn't come on. Took it apart, found poor contacts, got it working and then discovered a split gear. Emailed the seller-told to call Bachman.

I think the most ludicrous buy I've made was for an RMC 4 Ramsey Observation Car that I paid $35 at MLTS. I'm not sure HOW bad that is, but I am not allowed to do anything rediculous because I'm still a minor...

...for better or for worse...

...also, how much would you think something like my RMC car is worth? You know what, I'll just start another thread, but still, $10 I think is perfectly reasonable for a L-L b-car. Especially with the cool graphics!
