This year's Milwaukee Trainfest is Saturday November 11th and Sunday November 12th. Trainfest is, I believe, a possible maybe show for industry announcements of new products and to show new items in the flesh.

Has anyone been to Trainfest in recent years to comment on what kind of show it is to attend? Do they have swap meet-like tables? Prototypical model contests/displays?

I have been there and it is more of a manufacturer's expo with very little merchandise being sold.

They could improve things if they were to hold Milwaukee Beerfest next door to Milwaukee Trainfest on the same day.

I was wrong. I found out there will be commercial dealers selling stuff there. Private dealers of secondary trains are not allowed I'm told.
