Attended the Dupo Illinois Train Show this past Saturday morning. Dupo is on the east side (Illinois) of the St. Louis area. Dupo high school is the spot for an annual swap meet about this time every year. This year's show was pretty good for oldies.
Had a good scare myself though...came up to a table that at first had what looked like the TYCO GP-20 dressed in Santa Fe freight warbonnet! You know the one that appears in the 1976 catalog and is assume to never have been produced. I picked it up thinking it was the find of the century...and then realized it was just a custom painted TYCO model. Oh, well...
I did pick up a mint non-powered Burlington GP-20 from the Red Box Era that included the odd TYCO dynamic brake section. I will be doing pics of it and adding them to the Red Box Era GP-20 page when I get back home.
