My 10 year old son and I need some help. We are trying to rescue a train set we found in the attic but I'm not sure on how to wire it. We have one controller, two Atlas #56 switch controls, two 5 conductor color band wire and one black wire hooked to the rail. There was no wiring diagram in the box. Can anyone help? I can take some pics if needed.

One wire should go to one side and the other wire to the opposite. Then the other ends go into the DC terminals.Now, the swicthes. The 4-wire that's multi-colored goes into the solenoid and then the other 2 go into the DC terminals.To gets those trains running in tiptop shape, clean the track and the pick up wheels and pick up shoes with rubbing alcohol. The oil the motors bearing anf grease the gears. Make sure the track at every joint has a good and solid terminal and connection. " Heck with counting 'em rivets, TRAINS ARE FOR FUN! Not called the Mad Scientist for nothing either!"
