My BOTW is this very small passenger depot. Originally it was the shack for some kind of accessory for loading pipes onto flatcars. I got it in a bunch of buildings a coworker found at a garage sale. The loader was incomplete, but with a bay window added, the building was about the right size for a small rural station.
Things have been kind of slow around the OTW topics. Maybe we could follow Chops' lead and reawaken this show and tell.

All it needs is a train order semaphore outside the bay window, and it would look like some of the places I remember as a kid in Appalachia.

Thanks. Very long ago, I picked up a package of Life Like details including that phone booth, some garbage cans like the ones in parks (one is by the portly man in front of the depot), and some fire hydrants.
You have to have phone booths if you want Superman to protect your city.

Ah, The Busy Bee, a nice basic building kit that can be so much more. Recently added lighting to my example.

Yes, a purchase from RP Model Railroads, who eventually ended up supplying me with a great number of structures for Armadilloville. I love that classic look and paper cut outs for decals. For lighting, I keep meaning to, some day.... to put in tea lights for lighting. That way I don't have to go through all the agony of wiring from underneath.

Chops- Amen to the wiring agony. I've dealing with it for the a couple of years now. The worst part about using the Chinese made LED street lights are you need to have a resister in line so that needs to go under the light post somehow. On my new section I built most everything on raised floor tiles and routed the wires underneath. I didn't have that option in the already completed areas.
