I am considering popping on this, a two fer, NIB. I read some product reviews that
ranged from "Third World Chinese Trash" to "Awesome." Do any of our slot car
guys have experience with this?

As far as I know, Chops...the Hot Wheels line of slot cars were former Tyco's....so both of these cars are Tyco 440x2 slot cars. I have a few 440x2 slot cars in my collection, and all are strong, fast, and reliable runners.

Kinda the (slot) was power3d by a spring in the track have some of the sets The original electric hot wheels were Sizzlers battery powered cars they were reintroduced about 15 years ago

After Tyco was bought by Mattel 1998 or so they incorporated Hot Wheels as slot cars

did not last long

Yes the U Turn sets from the seventies They ALSO made Hot Wheels stuff with plastic track etc
