Took a trip to New Hope PA June 1 2014 for some railfanning adventure. . . . . . . With the Delaware River and shops nearby, a nice place to spend the day.

Nice photos. I've always liked passenger equipment in maroon paint, I think it looks really classy.

Ugh, I could hear the horn today from my yard but unfortunately school's still not done yet so I don't have much time to go visit the railroad.

As they always say, all things must come to an end eventually.Let's hope they keep their steam locos up and running.

It is not backwards since it is facing traffic on a one way road. Have more photos from a recent trip this past Sunday May 1. Rain all day but still a fun day.

Updating this thread with a vintage photo of an engine which ran there decades ago.
Steam engine 1533 at New Hope in 1975. Not my photo.

I was wondering the same, so I did some research.

Still at New Hope with a lot of work to be done. Comes with a hefty pricetag. Remember that they maintain another steam engine. Not cheap for sure. Perhaps one day 1533 may be cosmetically restored at least.
Some videos when she was running. Not my videos.
She was a beauty back in the day.
At least there is a model of her on the internet. Even has three New Hope steam engine models at the end.
