Smaller sized pictures load quicker & easier. I always crop my photos before loading them onto the forum...

Hi Ken,

Man have I been there done that with pictures. I now always crop, resize and make sure the .JPG at the end of the picture name is lower case like this .jpg. I have also noticed that if I rename my picture to just a one or two digit number it is less likely to time out or toss up any other errors. I know a lot of the picture loading problems have been taken care of now, but I figure if I do these things everytime, I have much less trouble.

Hey Ken:

Actually Todd-NYC, Eric-DaCheez, Tony-Gic, and myself and others have covered this countless times for newbies over the last 5-6 years. It kinda goes with computers and the "fail" message gives the clues. There are legal and illegal names for computer files, so if you take a pic, change the name as suggested to something simple. Crop it so it's not a huge file, and makke sure the file extension is all lower case.

If you used the search function and looked for Uploading pictures you'd have found explanations.

Hope that helps.
