I have some ez track 18" switches and seems all my locos get snagged and derailed! How can I fix this problem? I've ran everything from Athearn to Tyco engines!

The Fix = Atlas or Kato- Heck - even old Tyco tru steel switch - seriously - Have you tried rolling a car by hand slowly through the switch to see if flange way is deep enough or if wheels are tracking through the radius portion. From an eye level view - watch as car hits the frog part of switch to see if any problems there. If you are using kadee couplers - is trip pin bent up enough and if horn hook coupler - is the straight piece too long? Do your cars have enough weight in them - About all Tyco are under weight as are many others. Is the switch level or is it possible is has a slight bend in it? Hope this may help to trouble shoot and find problem.

I've read in other forums that this is a problem. Do some google searching and you should find some advice.

That EZ track is code 100, i do not believe flanges are the problem.
How-ever EZ track switches are Notorious and Infamous for derailments.
They need fine tuning and fixing. Try the google search or the Bachmann forum.

If you are not too deep into EZ track, i would recomend switching over to just about any other track. Atlas Snap track code 100 or 83, Atlas True track is decent or even Kato HO track.
