I am trying to design a layout on paper, but I need to know the dimensions of the right and left-turnouts. I believe the tangent part is 9 inches long and the radius on the curve seems to be 22", but I can't tell how long the curve is. Any ideas? In fact, is there are place on line were the exact dimensions of the various Atlas track pieces can be found?
Thanks

Way to go Ken. That site has a program that can be downloaded so anyone can design a layout on the computer. I have a friend who has used it alot.

I've tried to use the software from the Atlas website to design some layouts and even to reproduce layouts that I've seen on-line with little success. The problem, other than being on a learning curve, seems to lie with those turnouts that Atlas has. The radius of the curve part does not match well with either the 18" or 15" radius track. It doesn't seem possible to have a circular track with turnouts at opposite ends. Anyone else encounter this situation?
