Must be Caboose week about 3 years ago, I was about to dismantle this for parts until i looked at the bottom and saw the makers mark on the bottom , LIONEL ! That saved it from being scrapped for parts. I have this so long i dont remember when it became a part of my fleet. mid 1970s i think

Great collection of way-cars, guys. Think I'll hitch a ride on the Caboosa-Palooza!
Bachmann blank Bobber bundled with my Baldwin Shark. Yet to decide what road it will be, leaning towards none at all for that in a pinch use with any. Bobbers are cooler than cool.
Thank you, Santa.

Hey MicroBen, I don't have any cool cabooses, just a few of the common ones by Tyco. So I dug the Niagra Hopper out. Then took a few photos of other cars in that same box for future COTW pics.

Since the first several posts were cabooses I'll throw my two cents in. This is an old HTF, WM N.E. style hack from Bev-Bel. I'm thinking late 70's due to the life-like "blue box".

Ken; thats a good looking cab. Looks like a pre-1991 version due to the southern pacific style antennas on the roof. i never understood why when people weather items they dont take the windows out. Brian; excellent looking Seaboard System cab.

| ILUVBUDWSR,the windows were frosted,by sanding inside of glass,i sometimes do this,as there is nothing inside to see, also cuts the glare from lights inside of some of the items ken

Hi All,
Great stuff! ILUVBUDWSR, Thanks for sharing the info. on that caboose. I had no idea Bev-Bel did anything for Life-Like. Walt, I really like the colors on that hopper.
This is a StromBecker caboose. I think this came in a box lot my Wife got for me a while ago.
Thanks for looking.
