IT IS A PROMO SET THAT TYCO MADE FOR CHEF BOYARDEE #7635Q. I SAW AN AD ON TYCOPROMOTIONSETS.COM ABOUT THIS TRAIN SET . THEY SAY THEY NEVER ACTUALLY SAW THE TRAIN SET, ONLY THE AD. CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT IT?

one sold on ebay for $20 which if genuine would have thought a bargain to buyer

Thats a good estimate is the 20-$30.00 range. There really is'nt anything about this set that makes it too special except for the Chef Boyardee promo boxcar. Everything else is pretty much a dime a dozen. very nice score I must say!

I agree with Iluvbud about the value & the fact that only one car in the set is different. I have an original boxed Bubble Yum set that follows the same pattern. Remove the Bubble Yum truck & box car and what you have left is very common pieces that have little to no value.
As for MicroBen's idea, I done the same. I bought just the Chef Boy box car...

true guys & I do have a Bachmann version of the Chef Boyardee car & the Texaco tanker & the plain caboose
Usually I sees a promo train the whole train has their products on it
For example the grocery store train sets or the Johnson Wax Tyco set (still want that one ) Not just one car Target did the same tho
