I bought this Plasticville Motel and Pool kit yesterday at a flea market not far from home. It's mostly complete except for a window in the office building, and the sign which reads; OFFICE NO VACANCY. The people are closer to O or S scale, but there's endless possibilities with this one. I believe there's a company that makes "red light district" figures, which means there would be hookers in it. That's a start.

Yeah microbuss, I do take pieces outdoors to photograph so they come out brighter and more clearer. At the time I photographed it, it was rainy outside. I also figure, it would make for a sundown scene that's when "red light girls" start coming out to play

I like the motel too as I had one back in the 70s... I bought another a couple of years ago to replace it. Nice old kit

Hey Walt, Bachmann still makes this kit. the stock number is 45214. mine's an older kit with a different stock number.

Here's the same thing, rearranged slightly.

It's in the "kid's" addition to my layout--a whole town of business, out of scale vehicles, and mini figures.
Note the "skinnydipper" in the pool. My daughter found it in the box before I did. Oh well, she thinks it's silly.
No, there wasn't a fire at KFC. My daughter says a cat got caught on the roof.
