I can not complain as I did not spend more then 12 dollars on anyone item. The Athearn blue box was a awsome deal most of the cars were $4.50 each. The Silver Streak is for sale also make me a offer...

Hey, some nice finds - is that a metal SW7 I see? Lots of good stuff, and reasonable, too. Sweet!

I pointed out where all of the detail parts were missing- that I have from a Bachmann parts E60CP and an American GK E60CF. I just wore him down until he gave in.

I hate haggling down prices, sometimes you got to do it though. I got the L&N Mantua from him for 4 bucks I should have seen what I could do when I saw the e60 but I walked when I saw 30 buck on it thinking he was one of those guys.
Did you see the guy with the red box Tyco stuff? He had some crazy prices like 60 bucks for a animated boxcar(I got 6 of them in the box and never paid more then 20 for mine) and 750 bucks for a Civil War set... Did he even make back what it cost to rent a table? lol

| A lot of sellers at those shows still haven't realized the economy is in the tank and their stuff is over priced even for boom times when the economy was good. Some sellers just don't have a clue. I do wonder sometimes how they can afford to go from show to show without selling anyting to pay for their tables.

Taycotrains- you found those Chrome F9's there.? I can't believe I missed that. Those, the AEC F9 and the Cotton Belt F9, are the only ones I don't have. Those are awesome.....

The chrome B&Os where purchased near the mens room in the larger hall from a father and son team that I never saw before the set also came with 4 more chrome cars but the skirts are broke...

The AB set (which is perfect) and 4 beat up cars cost $65.00
The Chessie is a IHC and it has smoke and is boxed...$35.00 came from the same vendor
$100.00 total for everything.

| Wow, people just give those chrome sets away over there don't they? NYC and I found one there in 2009 (same show when I met you Tayco), but it was in a bit worse shape than that. For $35, no boxes either, can't complain. But for the shape the chrome appears to be on yours, you got a great deal. The skirts don't look too badly damaged, and you could always splice a repair part from another car and blend it with silver sharpie or a Zig pen.
