Welcome aboard! Are you talking about EMD in/near LaGrange? If so, it sure is a shame that they don't make locomotives there anymore. They even got rid of the big old EMD sign out front. Kind of a shell of it's former self. Some great history in those buildings though. I hope someday you get a chance to take a look around and let us know what you saw.

There's some in the HOSeekers website. Go to Home page here, then scroll down, second advertising window down is HOseeker, click on that, it'll take you to Literature and Photos. There should be posts here too you can search on, probably. Welcome board, hotspot!

I do get to see some stuff there EMD is Located in McCook Il not Lagrange they are the town next to us, EMD just uses there zip code. I do get to see some things but I can never really pay attention to them. They do have alot of locomotives still there. I even saw an old UP Turbine tender in the back once. They did put up a new sign its attached to one of the buildings. I did hear they donated the original to the Illinios Railway Musuem. Yea its sad it downsized so much Ive seen arieal pics of the original plant. It was HUGE.
