I believe that was a Suydam offering...you could get it for like 8 bucks...I'll try to find an ad for you.

heh I wondered what that was actually I'd say it needs a repaint in PRR NYC or NJC colors

take it apart carefully & remove all paint then repaint it

AHH! YOu guys are NUTS. That is an original piece, not too beat up. I'd leave it "as is ". At least find out the value of it BEFORE stripping the original paint off it! While I"m not a huge fan of originality, some things are best left original, if you care about value. This may be one of them. Then again, it may be like a Bachmann Trackster, neat but not rare. But I'd still find out first before doing that ( or listening to people tell you it needs that. )

this looks like a very near model like yours except windscreen,see door mouldings on side,front seats grill etc,$150 each to buy ken

Ken ; Good bitof dective work. It must come with and without the little trailor. Was it made by Suydam as shaygets said ? What ever it is a neat little piece. And yes I will have to open it. I never put power to anything but something new out of a factory sealed box that was reciently made. Got to check motor and clean out the inside of it. Dont want something that might have gotten in getting stuck. Also a tinny drop of new oil always helps. frank
